KOQA BEATBOX

Koqa Beatbox is a band of beatboxing, drums and trumpet, mixing Hip-hop and electronic music, including jazz, ethnic music and dubstep. Arthur Henry, swiss beatboxer touring in clubs since 2010 with a show made of sampled beatbox galvanized by rap, is joined in 2013 by Félix Fivaz (drums) and Paul Butscher (flugelhorn). After « Cyclic Oscillation tour » the trio is now presenting his first album « Nor Will Ever Be » (which came out on September 2016) through a show that offers original music and captivating atmospheres. Main events : Montreux Jazz Festival (opening IAM), Paléo Festival, Festi’Neuch, Chant du Gros, Festival de la cité –

KT Gorique, world champion. The young MC living in Switzerland, originally from Abidjan in Côte d’Ivoire, shook the hip-hop scene in New York by winning the 2012 freestyle rap world championship. It is worth mentioning that she is the first woman to win this title, as well as the youngest. Give her ten words and thanks to her powerful flow, she’ll give you an improvisation that leaves you wonder-struck. Known as the « Swiss knife » because of all the skills she has – rapper, actress, dancer, to name just a few – she is a fearless entertainer with very astute lyrics. A pure product of street art.

LA BASE & TRU COMERS

Over the last couple of years La Base & Tru Comers has become one of Switzerland’s most outstanding and critically acclaimed rap crews. Founded in 2007 in the harsh streets of the watchmaking capital Biel-Bienne, La Base consists of the five MCs Ri-K, Buds Penseur, T-Sow, Ekzhall and Sokra. Around 2010 the childhood friends teamed up with the production duo X-Pert and Sperrow better known as the Tru Comers which already gained some fame through their Remix and Instrumental EP’s on vinyl.

LA NEFERA

Jennifer Perez (November 1988 ), better known by her stage name LA NEFERA is a dominican female rapper. Born in the D.R, she came in touch with latin american sounds at a very young age and developed early a rhythmic talent what she expressed through dance until her 16th birthday. After moving to Switzerland, came the interest in songwriting besides the fascination for dancing. Inspired by several artists from music genres like Hip-Hop, R’n’B, Reggaeton and Metal, LA NEFERA began to write songs and form her own group the WS-Crew. One of the greatest successes of the group, was the sold out concert at X-tra in Zürich, as the opening act of the cuban hip-hop group “Orishas”, in 2008. In 2009, the group released their EP “Nuestra Frequenzia”.
Since 2013 Nefera has graduated in social work and dedicates herself again to music. She is currently working on several solo and collaborative projects. In 2015 she released as part of the female rapgroup VYBEZBILDER the album ” Skillz on Fire”.
As of October 2016 La Nefera set her 1st solo album A LO HECHO PECHO.

PENFIELD

Penfiled’s concerts are a pilgrimage from Jazz to Electro through Post-Rock. A long musical trip we call « New Prog » but where labels aren’t relevant. In this unknown galaxy, crossroads are the the only meeting point for the 5 musicians, leaving them total freedom for the rest of the trip. The listener is part of what could be the soundtrack of a movie, between expected and impromptu.
